The 2nd in a series of Parent Numeracy Workshops is being held from 10.00—11.30 am on Thursday 4th September at the Bradford Hotel, Denton Park Drive, Rutherford. You are invited to come along and find out more about the Language of Numeracy and strategies to help your child at school.
Included in the workshop will be information about the new National Assessment Program— Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) which was introduced this year for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9.
This workshop is for parents and family members of students in Years 5 & 6 at Primary School, and Years 7 & 8 at High School. If you would like to provide extra help to your child with their homework and school studies and gain a better understanding of how your child is taught, then come along to this FREE workshop. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and for discussion. Morning Tea Provided.
